Is it already the first day of Autumn?
That old saying about "how time flies" is certainly apropos right now. I can't believe it's already nearing the end of September.
Here in South Carolina, the heat and humidity seems to have disappeared overnight, with cool breezes in the morning and pleasant temperatures during the day. We still continue to limit our outside interactions with the public and maintain our social distancing. It's been months since I participated in an arts and crafts show, but am gearing up for a few in the coming months. I will be sure to have my masks on hand!
I have been busy, even though I'm not at those craft shows! I have a pretty substantial number of baskets in my inventory, and am making several more "palm pod" planters and hanging decorative pieces. Next to my craft table upstairs, I have a pile of the pods just waiting to be worked on. There is a wide variety of colors and sizes and should make for interesting final projects. I was able to obtain a LOT of pine needles recently and they are sturdy and thicker than the ones I usually find. I can't wait to see what they turn into!
Next week I will be updating the pictures on my site, with pictures of baskets that I actually have for sale. I'll send out an announcement when I'm ready for you all to view the latest and greatest. At that time, I will take orders with payments through either Paypal or by check.
Please everyone continue to be safe and careful!
